Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By using the Asterion website, forums, launcher downloads, store, or game services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. Not affiliated with Jagex

Asterion is an independent Old School RuneScape private server and website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Jagex Ltd. RuneScape and Old School RuneScape are trademarks of Jagex. Asterion is a fan project and may be shut down if required by rights holders.

3. Eligibility and age

You must be at least 13 years old to create a website account or use the game. If you are under 18 (or the age of digital consent where you live), you may only use the services with permission from a parent or guardian. Store purchases must be made by someone legally able to enter a payment agreement.

4. Website vs in-game accounts

Website accounts are for forums, profile settings, and related site features. In-game characters are created through the Asterion launcher and are separate. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity on accounts you control.

5. Donations, store, and digital goods

Store purchases and donations support server costs and development. They are voluntary. Items and bonds are digital goods delivered to the in-game character name you provide at checkout. Prices are shown in the store before payment. Checkout is processed by PayPal.

Because digital goods are delivered promptly to a character you specify, refunds are generally not available once delivery has begun, except where required by law or PayPal's buyer protection rules. Chargebacks for delivered goods may result in account suspension. Contact asterionrsps@protonmail.me for billing issues.

6. Conduct and termination

You agree not to cheat, exploit, harass others, spam, share illegal content, attempt unauthorized access, or abuse the website or game. We may suspend or terminate website or game access for rule-breaking, chargebacks, or abuse, with or without prior notice. Real-money trading of accounts or items outside the official store is prohibited.

7. Availability and disclaimer

The website and game are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, data permanence, or that features will remain unchanged. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Asterion is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the services.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
